SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
v DAILY, at day end or when the wash water becomes soiled:
§ Turn OFF the power as explained on page 12.
§ Wipe down the outside of the washer.
§ Remove the rack.
§ Drain the machine as explained on page 12.
§ Remove top (F-18DP only) and bottom wash-arms by unscrewing center
hold-down knob, pull wash-arm straight out.
§ Remove scrap screens and rinse off particles in the sink. Clean the screens
with a brush (Nylon bristles) and mild detergent solution. DO NOT used steel
wool. Rinse the scrap screens.
§ Clean all food particles in the wash tank. DO NOT flush them down the drain
of the wash tank as this can block the drain pump (F-18DP).
§ Wipe clean the interior of the wash tank wsith a damp cloth.
§ Replace and secure all parts that were removed to their original position and close the door.
Leave the power OFF if not using the washer.
v WEEKLY:
Ø Clean wash-arms.
§ Remove top (F-18DP only) & bottom wash-arms by unscrewing center hold-down knob. Remove
end-caps and run water through center hub. Make sure all jets are free of any debris. Replace in
dishwasher. Top and bottom wash-arms can be interchanged (F-18DP).
Ø Visual Inspection.
§ Open Bottom panel (as shown on page 10). Visually inspect the chemical pumps for cracked
tubes or leaks.
Ø Treat for mineral accumulation.
§ If your washer has mineral (calcium) accumulation (you will
notice a white-colored film inside the unit), it must be treated
with a de-scaler. Please contact us for more details.
v ANNUALLY
Ø Replace all tubes in the chemical pumps.
Ø Verify bushings in wash-arms for excessive wear.
Ø Inspect for leaks and missing or damaged parts.
