Selecting Tracks Using the Band Button
When playing MP3 discs, using a USB thumbdrive or SD card, you may initiate a
search for les or directories by pressing the BAND button. The types of searches
you may perform are described below:
To Search for Tracks Directly:
1. Press the BAND button once.
2. Rotate the volume knob to select a track number.
3. Press the volume knob to start playing the track.
To Search for a Directory or File Name:
1. Press the BAND button twice.
2. Rotate the volume knob to select the characters A to Z, blank, 0 to 9, _, -,
and +.
3. Press the volume knob to conrm entry of each character.
4. Press the PTY button to start the title search.
5. Press the volume knob to select the displayed song or directory.
To Search for a File or Directory from the Root Directory:
1. Press the BAND button three times.
2. Rotate the volume knob counterclockwise to select the desired directory.
3. Press the volume knob to conrm the directory.
4. Rotate the volume knob counterclockwise to select the desired song
or directory.
5. Press the volume button to conrm. If the selected title is a song, it starts to
play. If the selected title is a directory, repeat steps 4 and 5 to select a song.
To Search for a File or Directory from the Current Directory:
1. Press the BAND button four times.
2. Rotate the volume knob to select the desired song.
3. Press the volume knob to conrm the song.
Displaying Track Information
Press the DISP button to show the following information on the display panel:
time, ID3 TAG information if available (song title, directory name, artist name, etc.),
and track number.
