System Settings
When using the mobile audio system for the rst time, it is recommended that you
customize the system settings to suit your preferences.
To Customize System Settings:
1. Press and hold the volume knob to enter system setting mode. “BEEP ON” or
“BEEP OFF” appears in the display panel.
2. Press the volume knob briey again until the system setting you want to
change appears in the display panel. The system settings are listed below.
3. Rotate the volume knob to change the corresponding system setting. The
display panel will return to the normal indication in 5 seconds and the new
system settings are saved.
System Settings:
The system settings are accessed in the following order:
1. BEEP ON/OFF
An audible beep tone conrms each function selection. Rotate the volume
knob to set Beep sound ON or OFF.
2. P-VOL (Programmable Turn-On Volume)
This setting allows a user to select a turn-on volume setting regardless of the
volume setting prior to turning the unit o. To program a specic turn-on
volume level, rotate the volume knob to the desired turn-on level.
3. AREA SAM/EUR/USA/
Rotate the volume knob to select the tuner region: SAM (South America),
EUR (Europe) or USA.
4. HOUR 12H/24H (Clock Mode Setting)
Rotate the volume knob to change the time format. You may set the time after
selecting the time format.
• HOUR 12H - Clock displays time in a 12 hour format using AM and PM.
• HOUR 24H - Clock displays time in a 24 hour format (0:00 up to 23:59).
To set the time:
a. Rotate the volume knob to change the hours.
b. Press the volume knob.
c. Rotate the volume knob to change the minutes. The display panel will
return to the normal indication 5 seconds after the time is set.
5. PCLK ON/OFF
Rotate the volume knob to turn the PCLK mode on or o.
• PCLK ON - Clock appears on the display panel when the unit is turned o.
• PCLK OFF - Clock does not appear on the display panel when the unit is
turned o.
