Battery Replacement
1) Turn the TestierPROf over on
the backside and place it on a at
surface�
2) Use a Phillips screw driver (No� 2) to
remove the battery door screw�
3) Pull the old battery out of the battery
compartment and detach the battery
cap�
4) Connect a new Alkaline 9 volt battery
to the battery cap�
5) Slide the new battery into the battery
compartment and close the battery
door�
6) Replace the battery door screw using
the screw driver� Do not over tighten�
When installing a new battery, disconnect
any cables connected to the
TestierPROf. The length and pretest
modes will be improperly calibrated if a cable
is present when a new battery is connected
to the TestierPROf.
Hint:
TestierPRO can retain user-dened
length constants and last mode of
operation for several minutes without
power if the unit is turned off before
replacing the battery.
