OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Important: The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only,
according to the regulations for electrical and mechanical safety in your country.
1) MANUAL MODE:
The unit runs automatically, according to the settings (dimmer, rotation, … )
made in the setup menu or with the included IR-remote:
A. BLACKOUT button: switch the output on/off
B. STROBE button: switch the strobe function on and use the +/-buttons
(E) to change the speed. Set speed = 00 to stop the strobe function.
C. SLAVE button: switch the projector to SLAVE mode.
D. WW / CW buttons: switch the projector to steady output. Use the +/-
buttons (E) to control the dimmer.
E. +/- buttons: used to change the values of certain functions.
F. Numpad: used to set the DMX-address and rotation speed.
G. AUTO RUN button: switch the FADE RUN function on and use the +/-
buttons (E) to change the speed.
H. PROG button: start the GOBO rotation (LEFT of RIGHT direction) and
set the speed with numpad buttons 0→5. Set speed = 00 to stop the GOBO rotation.
I. DMX MODE button: press to set to DMX-mode. With the +/-buttons (E) you can also change the
Dimmer speed and DMX channel mode.
J. SET ADDR button: used to set the DMX address (use +/-buttons (E) or numpad buttons (F).
2) MASTER / SLAVE MODE:
Several units can be connected together to create nice synchronized projections.
The (slave) units will follow the instructions given by the first unit (master) in the chain.
NOTE: it is important to execute the next steps in the correct order.
• Connect the DMX output of the master unit to the input of the first Slave unit.
• Connect the DMX output of the first Slave unit to the input of the second Slave unit, etc.
• Make the desired settings in the master unit (dimming, rotation speed, etc…)
