7.1.6 Immediate Suppression / Immediate Smoke
Immediate Suppression and Immediate Smoke allow you to immediately construct a call-for-fire
with predefined settings.
In Immediate Suppression and Immediate Smoke, only the target location needs to be transmitted
to commence firing.
The settings for Immediate Suppression can be changed from Preferences panel. Go to Menubar
ToolsPreferencesImmediate Suppression
Immediate Smoke is very similar to the Immediate Suppression firing procedure. The only difference
between them is in Immediate Smoke ‘WP’ rounds will be used as ammunition.
In Preferences panel you do not get a separate option to change settings for Immediate Smoke.
Immediate Smoke uses all the settings set in Preferences panel for Immediate Suppression, except
ammunition.
The logic of coord illum’s delay, is between the first illum and HE rounds. Which means:-
the time (T
he
- T
i
) between the detonation of the first illum round (T
i
) and the detonation of the first
HE round (T
he
).
