28.8.1.2 Conducting a continuous fire scenario
In a continuous fire scenario assuming that the duration is 60s and the rate of fire is 2(rounds per
minute); it should fire the first round at 0s, the second at 30s, and another round at 60s. Likewise in
a scenario which spans for 90s with the rate of fire as 2 there will be rounds fired at 0s, 30s, 60s and
90s.
28.8.1.3 Check Fire in Fire Scheduling
In fire missions conducted from the Fires Schedule Worksheet the check fire option should drop the
rounds to be impacted until the check fire option is unchecked. For example if a fire mission is
scheduled for 60s with the rate of fire as 2, there will be rounds impacting at 0s, 30s, and 60s. If the
check fire option is checked at 20s and unchecked at 40s, the round which needs to impact at 30s
will be dropped and the 3
rd
round which is due at 60s will fire at the scheduled time.
