26.1 Saved data locations
VBS3Fires will create a subdirectory name VBS3Fires in the user Documents directory. For most
users this will be:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\VBS3\Simcentric\Fires will create the following files
inside that directory:
File Name
Description
firesSettings.dat
Records the default station name for VBS3Fires
and any other default data relating to this
VBS3Fires station.
fireOptions.xml
Records information such as Immediate
suppression settings and doctrinal selection.
log.txt
Records the log of the last run of VBS3Fires
syserrlog.txt
Errors which are not shown in the Log file will be
recorded in this. This file will be refreshed when
VBS3Fires is reopened or refreshed by running
the ConnectInProgress script from the VBS3 side.
quickaccess.xml
Records the data about quick access button in
the preferences. This file is only created when
user change the quick access buttons. If this file
is not available then the first four panels are
linked to the quick access buttons.
radiolog.txt
Records data transmitted from radio log when
missions conducted from panels.
targetDescription.xml
Records data when target description in
preferences is modified. This file is created when
saving target description from preferences
panel.
