24.16 Multiple Instructor Scenario
VBS3Fires provides the capability of conducting a mission with more than one instructor terminal. In
this scenario one instructor terminal hosts the VBS3 mission while the other instructor terminals and
trainee terminals join that mission.
24.16.1 Trainee Transferring Mechanism
The Network Connection Manager panel located under Simulation in VBS3Fires is an enhanced tool
that can be utilized for the management of connecting and transferring trainees.
Trainees can be transferred between Instructors via the Network Connection Manager before the
start of a simulation or even during a live simulation.
In order to transfer a trainee, the instructor who requires the trainee needs to make a request to the
other instructor that is currently connected to that trainee. In order to this, the Other Connected
Stations panel needs to be expanded. The Instructor then needs to select the preferred trainee and
click on ‘Request’.
