24.13 Linking Units to the FO Link

Once the user has added the units and the FO Link, each of the units must be linked to the FO Link.

To do this, go to the 2D map view, hold down the shift key, click on the ‘FO Link’, drag the mouse to

one of the units, and release the left mouse button. A blue line will appear between the unit and the

FO Link. These two are now linked.

24.13.1 Naming convention for FO Link

Units linked to the FO Link would use the same name. Names of the units do not get changed when

linked to the FO Link.

24.13.2 Locating the FO Link

Ideally, the FO Link could be placed next to where the unit is placed. However, the placing and

position of the FO Link has no effect on the mission.
