24.7.1 Specifying Battery parameters

The Battery’s parameters are:

1. Type. This is used to define whether Battery or Battalion

2. Battery name. This is the name that will be displayed inside VBS3Fires to represent that

Battery. It must contain no spaces or punctuation.

3. Doctrine. Specify to use the US call for fire doctrine for this Battery.

4. Callsign. This is the Callsign for this Battery. It must match one of the entries in the radio net

for this mission. It cannot be left blank.

5. Gun type. This specifies the Caliber of the guns that are firing this is a drop down box from

which the user can select a template gun type for this Battery. As the user selects different

options from this list, all of the options below will change accordingly. Any of those values

may then be modified individually in order to customise this Battery.
