18.3.1.1.2 Change Meteorological Status

Use slider bars to modify environmental factors in VBS3.

Update: Simply drag the appropriate slider bar to the desired value and then click Update. The

changes of environment are instantaneous by default.

Delay: If gradual environmental changes are required, enter the period of change in the text boxes

at the bottom of the panel and click Update.

Reset: Click Reset to reset the values which was set last.

18.3.1.2 Wind Conditions

The Wind condition allows controlling the ground wind conditions of the simulation environment.

The wind conditions will affect round ballistics, dispersion of smoke, and general environmental

features such as trees and foliage.

You can change:

 Ground wind speed (knot)

 Ground wind direction (From and mils)

Change wind conditions:

1. Drag the slider bar you want to the desired value.

2. Click Update.

3. Click Reset to reset to the default environmental conditions.

Rain slider bar is disabled until a value greater than 0.7 is set for the overcast level.
