18.1.12.6 Damage
The Damage model caused by projectile fragmentation will be changed according to the angle of
impact in the terminal effects. Simple damage model does not consider about the angle at impact
(default it takes 90 degrees) whereas advanced damage model takes into consideration about the
actual angle. Simple model will be based on the circular and proportion to distance between the
explosion point and the unit location for which the damage will be applied. You can select the simple
and advanced damage options from the Preferences panel. Depending on the damage settings the
Terminal Effects panel will enable or disable the Angle of Impact feature.
If Battery Variance is selected, the advanced damage model would be used. However, this feature
enables the option to make variances to a Battery to fire according to a Simple Damage or an
Advanced Damage.
Damage Objects
This option can be used to activate or deactivate the application of damage to entities of a terrain
such as buildings and trees. This selection has no effect on applying damage to vehicles and units as
damage to vehicles and units will always be applied.
