9.1.1.3 FSCMs - pending
1. Select the type of the FSCM, and then enter the name of the FSCM.
2. Click Select Perimeter and then draw the perimeter of the zone in VBS3 2D map view.
3. Enter the following details in the panel,
Opening Time: When you want the zone to appear from simulation.
Closing Time: When you want the zone to disappear from simulation.
9.1.1.3.1 States of a FSCMs
Pending state: If the present simulation time (Simulation Time displayed in the Menubar) is earlier
the given opening time the zone is in Pending state. The zone is not visible in the simulation.
Active state: Once the simulation time reaches the opening time, the zone will get activated. The
zone is visible and effective in the simulation.
Expired state: The zone will be expired when simulation time reaches the given closing time. The
zone is not available in the simulation anymore.
In a network scenario the FSCM can only be drawn by the instructor. These Zone markers
will not be visible to the trainees connected to the mission. The created FSCM will also be shown in
the AAR’s when recorded.
