7.4.8 Two Phase Serials

Two Phase Serials create a mission with two fire serials. It facilitates to consist of two different

ammunition types to be fired with different firing rates.

Enabling the two phase serial feature can be done by ticking on the “Two Phase Serial” check box.

Once enabling the feature, the Ammo/Fuse Combination panel changes to accommodate two rows.

Each row represents a phase. Total duration and Rounds per minute provided are to determine the

Firing rate of the serial. One serial will be created for both Ammo/fuse combinations. Created serial

on the Instructor Control Panel only shows the Effect and Fuse type as Mixed. But the detailed Effect

and Fuse type can be seen on the Gun Details panel under Instructor Control Panel.

The mission executes by treating the two fire serials separately; which means the combination of the

two fire serials would not be fired simultaneously. By default mission would first complete firing the

rounds of the first phase and then proceed to fire the rounds of the second phase.

Feature will only be enabled for the Commonwealth Doctrine.
