Image 7.47 Fire Schedule Worksheet- Reference Description
Checking the “Show All Target Names” option will make all the serials made with previously
recorded targets show the specific target’s name. On the contrary checking the “Show Target Name”
option will make the selected serial show its target name.
After activating the fire schedule worksheet, the starting point of serials cannot be changed
but the end point of serials can be changed.
Activated serials have a minimum time length that it can be set
With a line consisting of many serials that are followed by another on the same line, serials
that have completed firing would not be allowed to change the end time.
7.3.2 Import and Export Feature
The Fire Schedule worksheet has an Import and Export feature, where the added serials can be
Exported and used at a different time by simply Importing the saved file. This gives the users a
potential in reusing the fire schedule mission data. After adding the relevant serials for the fire
schedule worksheet, the users can click on export to save the worksheet at a preferred location. To
use this saved file the users can click on the import button and then select the required file to be
loaded. Once imported the fire schedule work sheet will be populated with the data which was
saved on the file. The users then need to take steps to activate the Fire serials which are loaded to
the worksheet. It is highly recommended that that the worksheets which are saved from a specific
terrain be used with the same terrain to avoid confusion with grid positions.
Importing XML files should be valid. If an XML file is imported which is not compatible with
VBS3Fires an error message will be displayed.
