THE ORIGINAL FIBERGLASS POLE INTRODUCED IN 1956 Jameson introduced the first fiberglass lay-up sticks in 1956 to meet the needs of telecommunication linemen. The strength and durability of fiberglass proved indispensable when lifting leak detection equipment overhead and soon replaced wooden poles as the industry standard. Today, Jameson poles are available in a variety of configurations with tools and accessories to serve telecommunication linemen, professional arborists and landscapers.
