The development of Jameson’s NEW ﬁberglass COMPOSITLOCK™

Poles with ﬁber reinforced composite ferrule was in response to safety

concerns from our customers.

According to the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), “Electricity is a

serious and widespread hazard to arborists. In fact, electricity causes

about 15% of all fatalities in the tree care industry, making it the leading

cause of worker fatalities.”

A ten-year study (2006-2016) conducted by

the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association found “while overall

recordable injuries were down by approximately 50 percent in that

time-frame, the number of serious incidents did not decline and rose

signiﬁcantly as a percentage of all events.”
