9 APPENDIX A: REGULATORY
COMPLIANCE
9.1 U.S.A. - FCC STATEMENT
Thisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsfora
ClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart15oftheFCCrules.Theselimitsare
designedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferencein
aresidentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiate
radiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewith
theinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.
However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurina
particularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterference
toradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningthe
equipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrectthe
interferencebyoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures:
–Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
–Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
–Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthatto
whichthereceiverisconnected.
–Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.
9.2 EXPOSURE TO RADIO FREQUENCY (RF) SIGNALS
Yourdevicecontainsaradiotransmitterandreceiver.Theradiatedoutput
powerisfarbelowtheinternationalradiofrequencyexposurelimits.
Theselimitsarepartofcomprehensiveguidelinesandestablishpermitted
levelsofRFenergyforthegeneralpopulation.Theguidelinesarebasedon
thesafetystandardspreviouslysetbyinternationalstandardsbodies:
