7 PACKAGING
Objective: Effectively package completed thermal valve for inventory.

› Using box (#192066), tape base together. Figure 7.1
› In the bottom of the box include two flush adapters with procedure instructions
and the J-TH34 thermal valve installation instructions. Figure 7.2
› Place a sheet packaging paper in base of box.
› Place completely assembled valve in box
› Place a sheet of packaging paper on top of completed thermal valve.
› Close tabs and secure using packaging tape.
› Install J-TH34 label with UPC bar code on one end of box. Figure 7.3
› Install red colored “ATTN: Plumber!” label on top of box. Figure 7.4
› Record how many valves were completed on the work order. If valves were
found in non compliance status, record the quantity and reason for non
compliance.
› Refer to step 5 for destruction process of valves in non compliance.
› Record how many valves were completed on tracking log.
› Place valve on shelf in pick area
