In addition to the panel control buttons and wired
desktop controller, you can also operate the KVM
switcher using simple keyboard “hot- key" keyboard
combinations.
You can select from hot-key four modes:
HOME ("HOME" is the product default mode.)
Caps
Scroll
Num
To enter one of the other modes, type [HOME] + [HOME]
+ "Caps", "Scroll" or "Num" keys. Once you're in the
selected mode, type [MODE] +[MODE] + your commands
To return t
o the default mode, type [MODE] + [MODE] +
HOME.
AUTO SCAN HOT-KEY COMMANDS
[MODE] + [MODE] + S enables Auto Scan function. In
default mode, the switcher will cycle form port to port in
a circuit every 10 seconds. You can select a different scan
time with the hot-key commands [MODE] + [MODE] + I
+ Number (of seconds) + Enter.
H O T - K E Y D E S C R I P T I O N
Press any key on the keyboard to exit Auto Scan.
NOTE: Each keystroke within a hot key sequence must be
pressed within 2 seconds to send commands to the KVM
switcher.
Otherwise, the hot-key sequence will not be accepted.
Your computer will emit a beep to indicate that the
commands have been accepted.
Hot-key commands include:
Connect the HDMI output port of the computer to the
HDMI input port of KVM switch by HDMI cable.
Connect the USB-A port of the computer to the USB-B
port of KVM switch by USB cable
Connect your keyboard and mouse to the rear of the
switcher.
Connect the desktop controller (optional).
Power on the switcher.
