Care Guide
This quality and care guide is provided to keep your J Collection
cabinetry looking like new.
Our J Collection cabinetry is manufactured with the highest quality materials. These
nishes are very strong, durable and moisture-resistant, but can still be damaged by
moisture if not cared for properly. Our 8-step polyurethane paint and wood product
can last a lifetime with the help of these guidelines.
Immediately after the installation is completed you should vacuum the interior of the
cabinets taking extra care with the drawer slides as dust particles can interfere with
the smooth operation of your drawers.
Cleaning:
Any cleaning that may be required should be done using only a soft cloth lightly
dampened with only water. For more difcult areas, a small amount of soap may be
used, making sure to dry the cabinets quickly. Do not use any products that may
contain silicone, solvents, harsh detergents or any abrasive products.
Spills:
When spills occur, they should be wiped up immediately before any liquid can
penetrate the surface. Give special attention to the product around the sink and
dishwasher. Do not hang any damp or wet dish towels over the cabinet doors.
Products to avoid:
• Products such as mineral spirits, nail-polish removers or paint thinners.
• Ammonia or cleaning products that include ammonia.
• Bleach or cleaning products that include bleach.
• Never use wax or polish on your cabinetry.
• Do not use sponges or dishcloths as they could contain
particles that might scratch your cabinets.
