WARNING.......ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE PREVIOUS STEPS,
YOUR RIFLE HAS A CARTRIDGE IN THE CHAMBER AND IF THE SAFETY
IS DISENGAGED AND THE TRIGGER IS MOVED THE RIFLE WILL FIRE,
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SELECTED THE CORRECT AMMUNITION BE-
FORE YOU FIRE THE RIFLE.............
WARNING
Never keep or store your rifle loaded..........
There is no excuse for not being careful.....
To Unload Bolt Action Rifle:
1) Make sure the gun is pointed in safe direction
and the safety is engaged and your fingers are
away from the trigger.
2) Move safety to the rear position or disengaged –
Fig B.
3) Put one hand over the ejection port to catch
round as it is ejected.
4) Lift the handle up and then slowly pull the bolt
handle rearward to remove the cartridge from the
chamber– Fig 15.
5) Remove the magazine if your rifle has a detach-
able magazine option – Fig 10.
6) Visually check that the barrel and chamber so
that they are empty and free of obstructions.
7) Close the Bolt and engage the safety once fire-
arm is empty– Fig A.
