Select OK and press Enter/Select . The selected Alerticon is assigned to the
contact, and appears next to the contact in the contact list. The Alerticon's
animationwillappeareachtimeabannerindicatesthatame ssageisreceived
fromthecontact,orthatthecontact’sstatushaschangedtoonline.
Blocking/UnblockinganIMContact
► ToblockanIMcontact(WindowsLiveMessenger):
1 IntheIMcontactlistscreen,selectthecontacttobeblocked.
2 Press andselectContact>BlockContactfromtheOptionsmenu.
Note: Alternatively, you can select Block Contact from the Options menu in
theChatscreen.
TheBlockUserscreenisdisplayed,promptingyoutoconfirmthatyouwantto
blockthecontact.
3 Select Yes and press Enter/Select. The contact’s status is updated in the IM
contactlist;thecontactisblockedandisunabletosendyouinstantmessages.
► TounblockanIMcontact(WindowsLiveMessenger):
1 IntheIMcontactlistscreen,selecttheblockedcontact.
2 Press and select Contact >UnblockContact from theOptions menu. The
UnblockUser screen is displayed, promptingyou to confirm thatyou want to
unblockthecontact.
3 Select Yes and press Enter/Select. The contact’s status is updated in the IM
Contactlist;thecontactisunblockedandcanseeyourpresenceandsendyou
messages.
► ToblockanIMUser(ICQ):
1 IntheIMcontactlistscreen,selectthecontacttobeblocked.
2 Press andselectUser>BlockUserfromtheOptionsmenu.
Note: Alternatively,youcanselectUser>BlockUserfromtheOptionsmenu
intheChatscreen.
TheBlockUserscreenisdisplayed,promptingyoutoconfirmthatyouwantto
blockthecontact.
3 SelectYesandpressEnter/Select.TheuserisremovedfromtheIMcontactlist;
theuserisblockedandisunabletosendyouinstantmessages.
Note: AnICQusercannotbeunblockedwhenusingamobiledevice.Youcan,
however,unblocktheuserfromyourPC'sICQclient.
