Dear customer,
Thank you very much for the trust you have placed in us.
Please read these instructions for safe operation carefully to familiarize yourself with the product prior to taking it into use.
The pack contains: voltage converter, operating instructions
Attention!! Important operating instructions!!
- The use of the product under unfavourable environmental conditions must be avoided under all circumstances. Unfavourable
environmental conditions include: ambient temperatures above 50° C, flammable gases, solvents, vapours, dust, relative humidity in
excess of 80%, and moisture.
- The device must only be operated in dry and closed rooms and vehicles.
- If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be switched off immediately and secured against
unintentional operation. Safe operation can no longer be assumed if the device is not functioning, has visible damage, the connection
cables are damaged, the device has been damaged in transport, after storage under unfavourable conditions.
- Service and repair: Service and repairs may only be carried out by authorized and qualified personnel. Only fuses with the cited value must
be used as spare parts.
It is not permissible to use repaired fuses or to by-pass the fuse holder.
Product description
This is a synchronized voltage converter without electrical isolation between input and output. The high switching frequency of approx. 50 kHz
allows small components. The degree of efficiency of approx. 85 % is very high and is characterised by lower heating up and significantly
smaller dimensions compared to common, linear voltage converters. This voltage converter is protected against reverse polarity, short-circuits
as well as overload and is idling-proof.
Areas of application
This voltage converter is used wherever 24 VDC voltage has to be reduced to 12 VDC voltage.
For example, in trucks, mobile homes, solar systems, boats, etc.
Features and control elements
1. Input (24 V)
2. Output (12 V)
3. LED red
24 V/12 V 10A 24 V/12 V 20A
Connection and start-up procedure
Use only connection cables with a minimum diameter of 2.5mm² on input (24 V) and output (12 V) to keep potential voltage loss over the cables
as low as possible.
Ensure that all cables are connected with proper polarity and that the max. output current does not exceed 10 A / 20 A.
Note: In case of malfunctions, please check the input fuse (10 A or 20 A) and the polarity of the connections.
