Q. How does it compare to air filters?
A. Air Purifier does not rely on the air to actually pass through the
machine to be cleaned like air filters. It’s not a filter at all. Air Purifier
produces both activated oxygen, which reduces odors, and negative
ions, which eliminates particles.
Q. Is ozone safe?
A. Ozone in very high concentrations can be irritating to mucous
membranes and the respiratory system. We recommend you set the
OZONE button properly and leave the area to let the purifier to its job.
Before using the Air Purifier, you should read the enclosed instructions
carefully. DO NOT stay in room once you set up your purifier.
Q. Where should I place the Air Purifier in my home or office?
A. The Air Purifier should be placed in the room where you have the most
pollutants. The Air Purifier is easy to move so you might want to try it in
a couple of locations to help decide what works best for your
environment. An elevated location is better to distribute ions and
activated oxygen more evenly. The Air Purifier works best if it is placed
within four (4) feet of a cold air return.
Q. Is the ceramic ozone plate difficult to install?
A. No. To install the ceramic ozone plate (located in separate box
packaged inside the carton), first, loosen the back cover which has one
screw only. Next, take out filters and insert the ceramic ozone plate into
the ceramic ozone plate slot. Then, put the filters carefully back in
place. Finally, position the back cover in place and tighten the screw.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
When the purifier no longer produces enough ozone to be eective, the
ozone plate should be cleaned. A good rule of thumb is cleaning once a
month. Some environments cause ozone output to be reduced in a shorter
time but other environments may take longer.
To clean a ceramic ozone plate
• Turn o the unit and unplug it from outlet.
• Open back cover and take out filters one by one.
• Remove the 4" x 4" ceramic ozone plate from the ceramic ozone
