Option 2: Hose Drainage

1. Please note that a garden hose is not included in the box, so you will

need to supply your own. The hose should have a thread with an outer

diameter of 1-1/16" (2.7cm) and a pitch of 11.5 TPI.

2. Remove the bucket from the unit as described in Option 1.

3. Inside the compartment where the bucket sits, you will ﬁnd a nozzle

with threading. Lift the hatch on the outside of the dehumidiﬁer

that allows you to feed the hose through the opening, and

then screw the hose into the threading of the nozzle until

it is securely fastened.

4. Replace the water bucket. Make sure that the drainage hose you have installed passes through the bucket’s drain hole and is aimed

downward. Feed the other end of the hose into a ﬂoor drain and then cover the hole with a lid so the water will run straight into the

drain and not spill. Please note that the hose should not be pressed, twisted, or run up an incline, or else the water will not drain

properly. See diagram below.

NOTE: When you want to remove the drainage hose, you will

need to prepare a receptacle to collect water from the nozzle.
