Issues Possible Causes Probable Solutions
The unit will not
turn on.
The unit is not plugged in. Plug in the unit and switch
it on.
There is no power supply. Check the main power
supply.
The
icon is
blinking.
The filter is clogged. Clean the filter.
The air inlet or outlet is blocked or
covered.
Remove any obstructions.
The unit has fallen out of the working
temperature range of 34 °F–104 °F.
Move the unit to another
room.
The
icon is
blinking.
The water bucket is full or installed
incorrectly.
Empty the water bucket and
reinstall it properly.
The water float is out of position. Adjust the water float so that
it is in its proper position.
Water is leaking
from the unit.
The unit is on an uneven surface or the
water bucket is installed incorrectly.
Place the unit on a flat, level
surface and reinstall the
water bucket correctly.
The filter is clogged. Remove and clean the filter.
The water bucket is damaged. Remove the water bucket and
check for damage.
The continuous drainage is clogged or
loose.
Check the hose and its
connection.
The unit is not
collecting water.
The set humidity has been reached. Readjust humidity settings.
The filter is dirty. Remove and clean the air filter.
The unit has not been set up correctly. Review this user guide carefully
and try again.
The room temperature is out of the
working range (will display HI or LO).
Check the room temperature.
The unit is
excessively noisy.
The water bucket or filter is not correctly
installed.
Reinstall the water bucket
and filter, and ensure the unit
is on a flat, even surface.
The fan is still
running after
turning the unit o.
This is normal. The fan will continue to
run for up to two (2) minutes after the
unit is powered o.
The unit is emitting
an unusual odor.
This is normal when first using the unit
and is not harmful to the dehumidifier or
the health of people or pets.
