USAGE

Wi-Fi Pairing (AP Mode)

If you are unable to connect in EZ mode, you can connect your device in

AP mode. Follow the steps below to connect your device.

1. With the unit powered on, press

and at the same time to

enter standby mode. The

will ﬂash rapidly and the temperature

indicator with begin to ﬂash EZ.

NOTE: Only the

, , and buttons will work while in standby

mode.

2. Press

to switch from EZ mode to AP mode. The temperature

indicator will read AP and the Wi-Fi indicator will ﬂash slowly to

indicate you are in AP mode.

NOTE: To switch modes, press

within 15 seconds of entering

standby mode and press

to conﬁrm the mode switch. After 15

seconds of inactivity, pairing will occur in the mode last displayed on

the screen and the letters will stop ﬂashing.

3. From the app Home Page, tap “Add Device” or press + in the top right

corner.

NOTE: If you already have a device added to your account, the “Add

Device” button will not appear.

4. Select your dehumidiﬁer model from the device

menu. After making sure your phone is in AP

mode, follow the prompts in the app to complete

pairing. The

will remain lit to conﬁrm the

connection.

To connect multiple smart devices at the same time,

use the Family Management settings in the My

Ivation app. If other users pair to the dehumidiﬁer

without using Family mode, the original user will lose

connection to the device.
