e. Overlap the butyl rubber so there is no gap. The butyl rubber will self-vulcanize over time
and the seam will disappear.
f. Wrap vinyl electric tape around the butyl rubber starting at the CCU and moving up as
you did in Step a.
g. Continue wrapping the vinyl tape in a spiral back down to the collector. You now have
two layers of vinyl tape covering the butyl rubber.
