3. Using the provided set screw, secure the collector to the mounting plate with the antenna in
the upright position.
Pole Mount
If the vertical pipe or pole exceeds 6.75 inches in diameter, you may use metal bands instead of
the mounting brackets to secure the mounting plate to the pipe or pole. Two sets of slots (1.5 in.
long) on the mounting plate are provided for the metal bands. It may be necessary to use the
remote 915 MHz antenna kit to achieve optimum RF performance and GPS coverage if the pole
obstructs the desired RF path.
