1 Introduction
1.1 About This Guide
This document is a manual designed to help guide you through the testing, installation and activation of
your I210-AMP SmartMeter. This manual provides general instructions on the support of your SmartMeter
and references to supporting manufacturer documentation for detailed guidelines and instructions on
features and operating characteristics of the SmartMeter for installation, programming, communication,
and troubleshooting.
The I210-AMP module is made specifically to be used in the GE I210+c utility meter. Together they
become the I210-AMP SmartMeter and are integrated at the factory. The I210-AMP module is not
marketed as a stand alone product.
