2.3Usingthetouchscreen
Your phoneprovides manytouch keys inthe Mainscreen. Touse these keys correctly, calibrate
thetouchscreeninadvance(see“Calibrator”).Meanwhilepleasefollowtheinstructions:
■Donottouchthescreenwithwethands.
■Donottouchthescreenwithgreatforces.
■Donottouchthescreenwithmetallic
orconductiveobjects.
2.4Connectingtothenetwork
2.4.1InsertingandremovingtheSIMcard
Turnoffthephone;removethebatteryandunplugotherexternalpowersupplies.InserttheSIM
cardintotheSIMholderasshowninthephone.
When you need to remove the SIM card, turn off
the phone, remove the battery and then
removetheSIMcardfromtheholder.
Warning:DoturnoffyourphonebeforeremovingtheSIMcard.NeverinsertorremovetheSIM
cardwhenanexternalpowersupplyisconnected,asthismaycausedamagetotheSIMcard.
2.4.2Turningyourphone
onandoff
To turn on thephone,hold downthePOWER key on the top; to turnoff the phone,holddown
thePOWERkey.
Ifyouhaveturnedonyourphonewithoutinserting theSIM card,thephonewillpromptyou to
install the SIM card. With the
SIM card already inserted, your phone automatically verifies the
availabilityoftheSIMCard.
Then,thescreenshowsthefollowing:
