i. Press and hold anapplication icon or a shortcut thatyou want tomove to
another icon to create a new folder. The phone then vi brates. Don’t lift
yourfinger.
ii. Simply tap the folder to open it so yo
u can access the applications and
shortcutsinsidethefolder.

Dothefollowsyoucanrenameafolder:
Tapthefoldertoopenit,tapatthebottomofthefolder.Enteranewfoldername
andthentapOK.
0.4 Rearrangingorremovingwidgetsandicons
Rearrange the widgets and icons on your Home screen to give room for adding
moreitemstotheHomescreen.Youcanalsoremovewidgetsandiconsthatyou
don’tfrequentlyuse.
0.4.1 Movingawidgetoricon
i. Press and hold the widget or icon you want to move. The pho
ne vibrates
and you’ll see a blue box around the widget or icon. Don’t release your
finger.
ii. Dragthewidgetoricontoanewlocationonthescreen.Pauseattheleftor
right edge of the screen to drag the widget or icon onto another Home
screenpanel.
iii. Whe
nthewidgetoriconiswhereyouwantit,releaseyourfinger.Ifyou’ve
released your finger but a messageshowsthat there’s no spaceto place
the widget or icon, drag it right or left again to another Home screen
panel.
0.4.2 Removingawidgetoricon
i. Pr

ii. Drag the widget or icon to the top of the phone. The Phone button then
changesintotheRemovebuttonandtu

0.5 Checkingnotifications
Notification icons on the status bar report the arrivalof new messages, calendar
events,alarmssetandongoingsettingssuchaswhencallforwardingisonorthe
current call status. You can open the Notifications panel to open the message,
reminder,oreventnotificationandseethemobileoperatorname.
