6. Phonebook
Select Phonebook in the menu to open phone contacts.
The phonebook consists of SIM card storage.
SIM card Storage: The capacity depends on your SIM card type. It consists of a name and one number in
each item. For details, please contact your service provider.
6.1 Browse
You can browse the phone book contacts which store in the SIM card and phone memory.
6.2 Create
Add new names in your phonebook with this function and save to the SIM card storage.
For SIM card storage: names and numbers can be added.
6.3 SIM phonebook
Input the first character/s you want to search. Use up/down navigation keys to lookup the name in the
phonebook.
You can directly call one number by pressing Send key in phonebook screen. You can also press
Option to make the following operations:
Dial to:Make a call to the number.
Send Message to:Send SMS to the number.
Detail/Edit:View and Edit the information of the contact.
Delete:Delete the contact record.
Create:To creat a new contact.
Copy to ME Phonebook
Storage status:To view the storage status of the SIM card storage.
6.4 ME phonebook
Input the first character/s you want to search. Use up/down navigation keys to lookup the name in the
phonebook.
You can directly call one number by pressing Send key in phonebook screen. You can also press
Option to make the following operations:
Dial to:Make a call to the number.
Send Message to:Send SMS to the number.
Detail/Edit:View and Edit the information of the contact.
Delete:Delete the contact record.
Create:To creat a new contact.
Copy to ME Phonebook
Storage status:To view the storage status of the SIM card storage.
6.5 Storage Status
Checks the capacity of the phonebook in SIM card and phone memory.
6.6 Speed dial
Allows you to assign up to eight phone numbers from Phonebook that you use most frequently to the
number keys (29), and then dial them easily whenever you want, simply pressing the associated number
key then pressing dial key (Or by pressing and holding the associated number key).
Press Left soft key to access Abbr. dial, displaying the Abbr. dial list: the associated digit keys
“2~9”=the names stored in phonebook. The keys not to be set are displayed “2~9= ”. Press Left soft key to
access the following options:
1).Set/Change: allows you to assign a different number to the key. If no abbr. dial number has been set in
this list, it displays this option only.
2).Detail: allows you to view the number assigned to the key.
