Emergency calls Turn on your phone and keep it in service areas, dial emergency phone numbers and then press send key to make a call. 3. Getting started 3.1 Inserting the SIM card Keep your SIM cards away from children. Consult your SIM card franchiser about its services and usage. SIM franchiser can be the service provider, network provider or other franchisers. Turn off your mobile device and make sure it is disconnected with charger before removing the back cover and battery. Removing the battery cover: Press and slide the battery cover to let it glide to the bottom of the phone, then remove the battery cover.
Battery charging: New batteries are not fully charged. Open the protective cover on your phone’s accessory connector port, then insert the battery charger plug into accessory connector port on the side of your phone as shown, and plug the other end into an electrical outlet. Your phone might require several hours to charge fully. When your phone is drained, it might take a few seconds to show charging display and it shows charge complete when finished.
This icon appears when you receive a new message. The inbox is full. This icon flickers when the inbox is full. You need to delete old messages to receive new messages. Turn alarm on This icon appears when alarm is on. Battery Capacity This icon shows the status of battery capacity. In Letter area, you can see the following contents: Operator Name According to the SIM card, displays the network operator's name. Time and Date Shows the time and date set.
5. Functions The phone offers you an array of functions. Under sleep mode, you can press the OK key or Left soft key to skim the main menu.
6. Phonebook Select Phonebook in the menu to open phone contacts. The phonebook consists of SIM card storage. SIM card Storage: The capacity depends on your SIM card type. It consists of a name and one number in each item. For details, please contact your service provider. 6.1 Browse You can browse the phone book contacts which store in the SIM card and phone memory. 6.2 Create Add new names in your phonebook with this function and save to the SIM card storage.

Input Method The phone supports many input methods such as capital letter and small letter, smart English, numeric and so on. 15.1 English Input Method English input method includes capital letter and small letter. You can input the letters using the keypad. The keys corresponding to the uppercase and lowercase input are separated by “;”. Those without a semicolon show that the characters will appear the same in both the uppercase and lowercase input method.
