INSTALLATION:
1. Determine where the product is to be mounted by placing the wall plate in the correct location.
Using a pen or marker, mark the screw holes to be drilled on the wall by using the wall plate as your guide.
2. Drill hole in wall to tap wall anchors (1) in place using a 3/16” size drill bit.
3. Install the plastic wall anchors (1) into the wall using a hammer to tap them in until they are flush with the wall.
4. Place the wall plate on the wall and align with the wall anchors in the wall.
5. Tighten the screws (2) until the wall plate is flush with the wall.
6. Put the fixture (3) into place and line up with mounting fixture screws and tighten with the decorative cap nuts (4).
7. Next, you will insert the batteries into the LED Pod located under the Reading light shade. Press the snap tabs
located on both sides of the LED Pod inward with two fingers to release the battery compartment.
Insert 3 “D size” alkaline batteries (not provided) with the polarity as shown in the battery compartment.
8. Make sure the guiding rib is properly matched with the slot on the side of the holder assembly in the LED Pod
for the initial and ongoing battery replacement.
9. Press the On /Off rocker switch located near the lens of the unit to power the unit on and off.
10. This unit includes a remote control (5). The remote can be utilized to power the unit on or off when the rocker
power switch is in the “on” position. Remote unit operates with one button cell CR2025/2032 3V battery. To
activate remote simply pull plastic tab put of remote. To open remote unit battery compartment, press door lock
tab inward while pulling open battery using thumb tab.
11. To switch the unit on with full illumination, push the 100% brightness button on the remote. To change the
brightness, simply select one of the other brightness buttons. Unit can be turned on using any brightness button.
To turn off, use the red off button on the remote.
To preserve battery life when not in use for long periods, turn off unit using the main rocker power switch.
