Step 3 Attach the filter to the faucet (Fig. 3) and turn swivel collar to
tighten onto the thread adapter. Do not use pliers. Mark the current
month on the reminder sticker and put it on the filter.
Operation
Slowly turn on cold water. Pull out valve stem to receive filtered
water (Fig. 3). Allow the filter to flush for a couple of seconds
before each use.
NOTE: Push the valve stem back if it doesn’t automatically return
to the unfiltered setting when water is turned off.
Cleaning
Use damp cloth with mild dish soap to clean filter housing and metal
valve.
For ceramic cartridge, you may use a toothbrush with toothpaste to
remove stains on the surface. Do not scratch.
Rinse it thoroughly in upside down direction (backwash) with warm
water after cleaning.
Proper cleaning and backwash will extend filter life. Still, timely
replacement is required as filter media will run out of capacity.

Filter Cartridge Replacement
Turn off faucet. With one hand holding the filter housing base, the
other hand turns the cap in counterclockwise direction to unscrew
it from the base. When putting in the new cartridge, observe the O-
rings on both cartridge and the housing cap.
Flush new cartridge for 5 minutes before first use.
