Clean the helmet by wiping it with a soft cloth. Clean cartridge surfaces regularly. Do not use
strong cleaning solutions. Clean sensors and solar cells with a damp cloth with methylated spirit
(denatured alcohol) and a clean, lint-free cloth. Wipe dry with a separate clean, lint-free cloth.
Replace the front cover lens and inner cover lens if they are cracked, scratched, dirty, or pitted.
Place your finger or thumb into the recess at the bottom edge of the window and flex the window
upward until it releases from one edge.
Clean the welding lens with a clean, lint-free tissue or cloth with residential glass detergent. Do not
immerse in water or other liquids.
Use neutral detergent to clean headband. Never use solvents or oil to dilute detergent.
Never directly strike lens.
Troubleshooting
Use the table below to troubleshoot problems before contacting service personnel or your local
dealer. If the problem continues after troubleshooting, call your local dealer for assistance.

Front/inside cover lens and/or filter
is soiled.
Insufficient ambient light.
Shade number is incorrectly set.
Change the front/inside cover
lens/or filter.
Increase the ambient light.
Reset the shade number.
Irregular darkening
or dimming
The distance from each eye to the filter
lens is not the same.
Adjust the headband so that the
distance from each eye to the filter
lens is the same.
Helmet slips
Headband is not adjusted properly.
Adjust the headband.
Slow response
Operating temperature is too low.
Be sure the operating temperature
is between -10° C - + 55° C.
