2. To adjust the distance between the helmet and your face, loosen the knob on the headband and
move the block nut in or out.
• Move the block nut out and the helmet will be further from your face.
• Move the block nut in and the helmet will be closer to your face.
3. To adjust the overhand band to one of the custom fit positions for proper helmet depth, rotate the
dial on the back of the headband.
• Press the spring-activated dial on the headband and turn left to loosen.
• Press the spring-activated dial on the headband and turn right to tighten.
After Each Use
After a welding job is complete, turn the dial to Grind Mode on the helmet and store the helmet in a
dry and dark environment.
Maintenance
Maintain the welding helmet by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in
accordance with the following recommended procedures.
