To unlatch, slowly pull out the cord until the “clicking” noise stops then, holding on to the cord, let
it retract in a controlled way until the cord stopper rests against the cord guide.
Note: To avoid possible injury and damage to the reel, always hold on to the cord while it is rewinding.
Work Light Operation
The hook at the top of the light allows hanging the light leaving both hands free. Use of both hooks, at
the top of the light and at the base of the handle, is useful to hang the light in a horizontal position.
Electric Tool Use
Simply plug an electric tool into the built-in outlet on the light to use the reel cord as an extension
cord.
CAUTION: Do not exceed the maximum amperage for the reel or overheating may result. The reels
are rated as follows:
49667 10 amps
49669 5 amps
49670 9 amps
The 49667 and 49669 reels include a circuit breaker that may open when too much current is drawn,
stopping power to the light and electric tool. If this occurs, press the reset button on the side of the
49667 reel case or replace the circuit breaker in the lead-in cord of the 49669 reel to re-establish
power.
