Before Each Use
WARNING
To avoid contamination in the grease gun, always make sure the barrel (inside and outside) and
surfaces contacting the barrel are clean of dirt, dust and debris. This debris can be pulled into the
grease gun and clog the valve.
Inspect the overall condition of the grease gun and do not use if the following conditions exist:
a damaged hose,
loose hardware,
misalignment or binding of moving parts,
cracked or broken parts,
damaged electrical wiring, or
any other condition that may affect its safe operation.
Operating Instructions
WARNING
Always wear the proper protective equipment, including ANSI Z87.1 compliant eye protection.
High Pressure Fluid Hazard. Do not use a hose pressure rating that is less than the grease gun.
Do not exceed the max pressure of 7000 PSI.
Ensure that the trigger is in the OFF position when connecting to the air supply. The pressure
relief valve is factory preset at 7,000 PSI (+/- 500 PSI). Do not adjust the pressure relief valve. If
backpressure in the high-pressure hose exceeds the factory’s preset pressure rating, grease will
be discharged through the pressure relief valve (see Figure 7) to prevent motor overload and to
limit grease pressure within the hose.
