 Do not exceed rated speed.
 Always wear the proper personal protective equipment including eyewear, ear protection, and
facemasks.
 Do not use if wheel is damaged.
 Do not overtighten mounting nut.
 Always ensure the appropriate guards are installed.
 Store out of reach of children.
Setting the Depth Gauge:
1. Place a gauge (depth gauge setting tool) on the chain in the vise over the depth gauge portion of
the cutter.
2. With a flat file, file the first depth gauge.
3. File all depth gauges.
After Each Use
 Wipe external surfaces of the tool with a clean cloth.
 Periodically, wear ANSI Z87.1 compliant eye protection and NIOSH compliant breathing protection
and blow dust and grit out of the motor vents using dry compressed air.
