FOR SHARPENER
Wear ANSI Z87.1 compliant safety goggles.
Do not use grinding wheels that have a max RPM less than the marked RPM rating on the tool.
Keep hands clear from grinding wheel during use.
Turn the chainsaw engine OFF before mounting the sharpener.
Do not allow chainsaw engine to be running while sharpening.
Electric shock hazard. Do not expose to rain or use in damp locations.
Do not use for wet grinding.
Do not use wheel if cracked or chipped.
Never exceed the manufacturers recommended depth-gauge setting for your chain. Excessive
depth-gauge settings or incorrect filing angles can increase the risk of kickback, which can cause
serious injury to the saw operator or bystanders.
Follow manufacturer’s current specifications for correct filing angles.
Do not use on any other object other than a chainsaw.
Disconnect tools before servicing; when changing accessories, such as blades, bits, cutters, and
the like.
Reduce the risk of unintentional starting. Make sure switch is in off position before plugging in.
Direction of feed. Feed work into a blade or cutter against the direction of rotation of the blade or
