Oil seals are damaged or worn.

Supply voltage is below

Verify that only the pressure
washer is running on this
circuit.
System has residual pressure.
Turn washer off, squeeze
trigger on trigger handle to
release pressure, then turn
washer on.
Voltage loss due to extension
cord.
Unplug any extension cords
attached and plug the washer
directly into the outlet.
Pressure washer not used for
long periods.

Residual friction among
components. Washer might
hum.
Disconnect water supply and
power on for 2 to 3 seconds,
repeat 4-5 times or until the
motor starts.
No water.
Water supply is off.
