Intended Use The Ironton 3500-Lb. Capacity Electric Trailer Jack is a fast, easy, and practical way to hitch and level trailers with A-frame couplers. It’s designed for larger trailers and recreational vehicles. Quicker and easier than hand cranking, pre-wired with a 75 in. lead, the electric trailer jack features adjustable foot, dual LED lights for added safety and low maintenance. Houses a 12VDC electric gear motor.

Carefully check that the trailer jack will operate properly and perform its intended function. Replace damaged or worn parts immediately.

If the trailer jack has a drop leg, never attempt to adjust the drop leg when there is any load on the jack. Main Parts of Trailer Jack Assembly Instructions ⚠WARNING Keep hands, feet, and body clear of the jack and trailer to avoid the risk of injury or death.
Detach the drop leg of the jack by removing the lock pin and sliding it out. To ensure proper grounding, remove paint from around one bolt hole on the jack, and remove paint from around the matching bolt hole on the trailer tongue. If the paint layer is thick, add a flat washer between the jack and the trailer to provide good contact. Exposed metal can be painted after assembly to inhibit corrosion. Position the drop leg in line with the mounting hole with the foot of the drop leg on the ground.
Operating Instructions ⚠WARNING Do not exceed the rated load capacity. The trailer jack is designed for vertical loading. Excessive side forces may cause jack failure. Do not use crank while power lift is in use. For use on flat, level, hard surface capable of supporting load. Prevent trailer wheels from moving using wheel chocks while raising or lowering. Keep body parts clear from under jack and tongue when applying and releasing load, or moving trailer.
After Each Use ⚠WARNING • After use, wipe external surfaces of the jack with a clean cloth. • Keep all moving parts lightly lubricated to prevent corrosion. Maintenance ⚠WARNING If wiring is connected to battery terminal, inspect at least twice each year for corrosion. Clean with a solution of baking soda and water, and then apply a thin coat of grease. The motor ground screw and mounting bolts must be cleaned too if a ground continuity problem occurs.
