Opening Files and Folders

When you open a folder, you will see the contents inside of that folder. There

will always be one icon at the very start, the Up icon ( ). This icon will help

you move out of folders and up to the previous level. Above the contents of the

folder, you will see a breadcrumb path that has been following your movements,

making it easy to see what the previous levels are.

Open a File or Folder

using the sensors

Select the le or folder Ì

Tap your nger one time on a side Ì ● sensor

using the stylus

Tap the le or folder one time with the stylus Ì

Open a File or Folder using the Menu

Select the le or folder Ì

Open the menu Ì

Choose Ì Menu>Open

Move one level up in the Documents

Choose Ì Up a Level from the list of contents in the folder

Hint: If you have a Digital Reader 1000 S, there is another way to move between

folders: using the breadcrumbs. Each of the folders in the breadcrumb path is a link

you can tap with your stylus.
