Big Ben WD-4021
1. Press and hold button B on chime until a
triple bi-tone is heard. This indicates the
chime is in the program mode for the Back
Doorbell pushbutton.
2. Program the Back Doorbell pushbutton by pressing the Back
Doorbell pushbutton, the chime will respond with a chime.
This must be completed within 2 minutes or the chime will
not accept it. If this happens you will need to Reset the chime
programming. Please repeat step 1 to reset the chime programming.
This package contains:
• Decorative Slimline wireless doorbell pushbutton
• CR2032 Lithium coin cell battery
• Adhesive pad, 2 screws and 2 wall plugs for installing the
doorbell pushbutton
You will require:
• A small Phillips head and Flat head screwdriver
Installation Instructions
Please note: Installing the pushbutton on or near metal structures or
reinforced PVC doors or doorframes may reduce the transmission range.
Open the doorbell pushbutton as shown in Figure 1.
Remove the fron
t cover by inserting a flat blade
screwdriver into the slot and twisting gently (A).
Install the battery (Refer to Figure 2)
Position the front cover as shown and slide
the CR 2032 Lithium battery into the holder
as shown, with the + side of the battery facing
you.
Automatic Programming
Do not hold the doorbell pushbutton in your hand while programming or
testing as this can reduce transmission range.
Basic Battery WD-1120 & Basic Plug-in WD-1140
1. Reset the chime by pressing and holding button A
until the c
hime sounds.
2. Program the Front Doorbell pushbutton by
pressing the Front Doorbell pushbutton, the
chime will respond with a chime.
3. Program the Back Doorbell pushbutton by
pressing the Back Doorbell pushbutton, the chime will respond
with a chime. This must be completed within 2 minutes of
programming the Front Doorbell pushbutton or the chime
will not accept it. If this happens you will need to
Reset the chime
programming. Please repeat step 1 to reset the chime programming.

usical Chime WD-6502
1. Reset the chime base by pressing and
holding button A until the chime

2. Program the Front Doorbell

2. Program the Back Doorbell
pushbutton by pressing the Back
Doorbell pushbutton, the chime will respond with a chime.
This must be completed within 2 minutes or the chime will
not accept it. If this happens you will need to Reset the chime
programming. Please repeat step 1 to reset the chime programming.

Selection
Please refer to the Door Chime instruction manual.
Install the Pushbutton (Figure 4)
Ensure the wall surface is clean and dry. Install the base
using either the double-sided adhesive pad on a smooth
surface, or the screws and wall plugs provided. Do not
install on or near large metal objects, as this can block
signals from the wireless pushbutton.
Hook the top of the pushbutton over the base
as shown in Figure 5 and then press down at
the base to snap in place.

This is a “Limited Warranty” which gives you specific legal rights. You may also
have other rights which vary from state to state and province to province.
For a period of two years from the date of purchase, any malfunction caused by
factory defective parts or workmanship will be corrected at no charge to you. To obtain a
refund or replacement, return the product to the place of purchase.
NOT COVERED: Repair service, adjustment and calibration due to misuse, abuse
or negligence. Unauthorized service or modification of the product or of any furnished
component will void this warranty. This warranty does not include reimbursement for
inconvenience, installation, setup time, loss of use or unauthorized service.
This warranty covers only IQ America products and is not extended to other
equipment and components that a customer uses in conjunction with our products.
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied,
including any warranty, representation or condition of merchant ability or that the
products are fit for any particular purpose or use, and specifically in lieu of all special,
indirect or incidental or consequential damages.
Repair or replacement shall be the sole remedy of the customer and there
shall be no liability on the part of IQ America for any special, indirect, incidental or
consequential damages, including but not limited to any loss of business or profit,
whether or not foreseeable. Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion
may not apply to you. Retain receipt for warranty claims.
Troubleshooting
Chime doesn’t sound when pushbutton is pressed
Check that the battery has been inserted correctly.
The doorbell pushbutton LED light should come on when the pushbutton is pressed.
Doorbell pushbutton may be positioned out of range of the door chime. Move the door
chime closer to the pushbutton.
Note: During the programming cycle, the transmission range may be reduced and will
resume optimum range after 2 minutes.
A metallic object may be blocking the signal to the door chime f
rom the pushbutton
position. Experiment with the location of the door chime to see if you can move it to a
more suitable place.
Battery in the pushbutton may need replacing.
See instruction for installation of battery.
Note: In cold conditions, poor location or environment, operating at maximum range it
is advisable to replace the battery more frequently (i.e. every 12-18 months) to maintain
optimum performance.
