TheBLEisresponsibleforknowingwhenthecollectioncartiswithinrangeofthe
parkingmeterandwillidentifyitandonlyduringthisperiodistheBLEactive.

TheRFIDidentifiesthecashcanisterthatispairedwiththeparkingmeterandtheRFID
tagisreadwheninstalledinthecollectioncart.

TheCDMAcellularradioisuseonlytoidentifyandvalidatetheactualnumberofcoins
andvaluethathasbeendepositedintothecartsbucketafterthecanisterhasbeen
emptyintoit.



