The PTS will also perform a last minute check just before allowing the irradiation to
start.
In Physics mode, the PTS will display the same warnings, without preventing
anything. In order to be able to perform QA irradiation in physics mode in the same
conditions as in clinical mode, the override to gated prescription will also be allowed,
without need to enter credentials. (Figure 48-8)
Important Any attempt to change your selection of gating source after securing
the treatment room will be inhibited by the Therapy Safety System
(TSS). Therefore, you will need to unsearch the treatment room,
change the source selection so it matches the prescription, then re-
secure the room to start irradiation.
